Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday & Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant for an enterprise technology project in Dallas, Texas. This is a Day-1 onsite contract opportunity for a professional who can work across both functional and technical areas and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, application teams, developers, and enterprise technology teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with Workday and Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) and should be comfortable analyzing business requirements, supporting enterprise applications, troubleshooting issues, coordinating integrations, and delivering functional and technical solutions.

This role requires someone who can understand business processes while also working effectively with technical teams to translate requirements into practical system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Workday & Oracle EBS Support

• Provide techno-functional support for Workday and Oracle EBS applications.
• Analyze business requirements and determine appropriate system solutions.
• Work with business users to understand existing processes, pain points, and enhancement requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for development and integration teams.
• Support application configuration, enhancements, testing, deployment, and production activities.
• Investigate application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve application and integration problems.
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements while following enterprise technology standards.

Requirements Analysis

• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders.
• Document functional and technical requirements.
• Identify system dependencies, integration requirements, and potential implementation risks.
• Participate in solution design discussions.
• Recommend improvements to existing Workday and Oracle EBS processes.
• Assist project teams with estimates, technical analysis, and implementation planning.

Workday Responsibilities

• Support Workday-related business processes and application requirements.
• Work with functional and technical teams on Workday enhancements and integrations.
• Analyze Workday data and integration requirements.
• Assist with testing and validation of Workday changes.
• Support issue resolution and production troubleshooting.
• Help ensure Workday solutions align with business processes and organizational requirements.

Experience with Workday integrations, reports, business processes, security, and data management will be valuable for this position.

Oracle EBS Responsibilities

• Support Oracle E-Business Suite applications and related business processes.
• Analyze Oracle EBS functional requirements and technical issues.
• Work with Oracle EBS teams on enhancements, integrations, and application support.
• Troubleshoot application and data issues.
• Assist with testing, deployment, and production support.
• Understand dependencies between Oracle EBS and other enterprise applications.

Experience with Oracle EBS modules, integrations, APIs, interfaces, reports, and technical development will be beneficial.

Integration & Technical Support

The consultant will work across enterprise systems and should understand how applications exchange data and support business workflows.

Responsibilities may include:

• Analyzing integration requirements.
• Supporting application-to-application integrations.
• Reviewing data mappings and transformation requirements.
• Troubleshooting integration failures.
• Coordinating with integration and development teams.
• Supporting interface testing and validation.
• Documenting integration processes and technical solutions.

The ability to communicate effectively with both functional and technical teams is particularly important.

Testing & Deployment

• Develop or review test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Support unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Coordinate with QA and business users during testing.
• Analyze defects and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Validate fixes before production deployment.
• Support release and deployment activities.
• Maintain appropriate functional and technical documentation.

Production Support

The consultant will participate in ongoing application support and troubleshooting activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Investigating production incidents.
• Performing root-cause analysis.
• Coordinating with developers and application support teams.
• Identifying recurring issues and recommending permanent solutions.
• Supporting application performance and reliability.
• Communicating issue status and resolution plans to stakeholders.
• Maintaining support documentation and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Workday & Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant.
• Hands-on experience with Workday.
• Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS).
• Experience working across functional and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application processes.
• Experience with application integrations and data flows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with application testing and deployment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to work Day-1 onsite in Dallas, TX.
