Job Overview
Oracle EPM Consultant Dallas We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Consultant with strong expertise in finance transformation, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), advisory services, and executive stakeholder management.
The ideal candidate will bring 8–10 years of experience and a strong combination of Oracle EPM functional knowledge, finance transformation expertise, process improvement, and consulting experience. The consultant will work with finance and executive stakeholders to assess current processes, identify gaps, develop transformation strategies, and deliver practical recommendations that improve financial planning and performance management.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity with onsite requirements in Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AZ. Exceptional profiles may be considered for remote work.

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM solutions, including:

The consultant should understand how Oracle EPM solutions support enterprise financial planning, consolidation, reconciliation, profitability management, reporting, and finance transformation.
Functional Finance Expertise
The role requires strong knowledge of finance processes and business functions, including:
- FP&A
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial consolidation and close
- Account reconciliation
- Profitability and cost management

The selected consultant should be able to connect Oracle EPM capabilities with real-world finance processes and business objectives.
Advisory & Transformation Responsibilities
The consultant will support finance transformation initiatives by:
- Conducting current-state assessments of finance processes and applications.
- Reviewing existing controls, operating models, and technology environments.
- Identifying process and technology gaps.
- Developing recommendations for process improvement.
- Supporting process re-engineering initiatives.
- Designing target operating models.

The consultant should understand how emerging technologies can improve financial planning, reporting, forecasting, automation, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess finance processes, applications, controls, and operating models.
- Lead stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions.
- Identify business and technology gaps.
- Develop finance transformation strategies and roadmaps.
- Evaluate Oracle EPM solutions against business requirements.
- Recommend improvements to finance processes and technology.
- Support business case development and value analysis.
- Present recommendations to CFO, Finance, and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams during solution planning.
- Provide Oracle EPM advisory and transformation guidance.
- Support documentation, governance, and implementation planning.
Required Skills

Preferred Skills
Experience with Digital – EAS – SaaS Oracle Commerce Cloud and related Oracle cloud technologies will be beneficial.
Knowledge of emerging finance technologies, AI, automation, predictive analytics, and digital transformation will also be valuable.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Oracle EPM Consultant / Finance Transformation Consultant who can operate at both the functional and strategic levels.
You should be able to understand complex finance processes, assess existing technology and operating models, identify improvement opportunities, and translate those findings into actionable transformation roadmaps.
Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with CFO, Finance, and senior leadership teams are highly important for this role.
