Job Overview
Snowflake Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Engineer with strong expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
This role requires someone who can not only work on implementation but also clearly explain real-time, scenario-based data engineering solutions, making it a critical requirement for this position Snowflake Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT
- Implement efficient data transformation workflows using DBT models
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
- Optimize and tune Snowflake performance for large-scale data processing
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries using advanced SQL concepts
- Develop and maintain data models aligned with data warehousing best practices
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across pipelines Snowflake Engineer
- Provide scenario-based solutions for real-world data engineering challenges

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Proven expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) – must be able to explain real-time use cases
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimization, etc.)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, ETL/ELT)
- Experience in building Top 50 DevOps Interview Questions and Answers scalable and optimized data pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical solutions clearly
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS / Azure / GCP
- Knowledge of data orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.)
- Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
