Senior Solutions Architect Jobs Texas We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect – Business Continuity & Resilient Infrastructure to support a critical technology initiative in Euless, Texas. This is a hybrid contract opportunity requiring local candidates who can work onsite three days per week.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or related disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing highly available, resilient infrastructure environments and developing solutions that minimize service disruption and support rapid recovery from infrastructure failures.
This role requires strong hands-on knowledge of broadcast playout, signal redundancy, satellite and live-stream workflows, automated failover, network and telecom redundancy, disaster recovery, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup, and replication technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Solutions Architecture & Infrastructure Resilience
- Design and implement highly available and resilient infrastructure architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Develop technical architectures that minimize service interruptions and improve overall infrastructure availability.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure environments to identify single points of failure, critical dependencies, and resilience gaps.
- Develop architectural recommendations that improve business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Create scalable and maintainable infrastructure solutions aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Work closely with infrastructure, networking, telecom, cloud, security, and operations teams to implement resilient solutions.
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for critical technology environments.
- Design recovery architectures supporting rapid restoration of critical services.
- Define recovery requirements, dependencies, recovery procedures, and technical recovery objectives.
- Develop and document disaster recovery plans, recovery procedures, testing strategies, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in DR exercises, testing, validation, and post-test analysis.
- Identify weaknesses in recovery processes and recommend improvements.
- Support the development of solutions capable of achieving near-zero Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) where required.
Broadcast & Signal Resiliency
- Design and support resilient architectures for broadcast playout and signal distribution environments.
- Work with broadcast technology teams to implement signal redundancy and automated failover capabilities.
- Analyze broadcast infrastructure dependencies and develop strategies to prevent service interruptions.
- Support architectures involving satellite, live-stream, and broadcast workflows.
- Design redundancy strategies for critical broadcast systems and connectivity paths.
- Evaluate potential failure scenarios and develop appropriate failover and recovery mechanisms.
Automated Failover
- Design and implement automated failover solutions for critical infrastructure and applications.
- Develop architectures that minimize service disruption during hardware, network, connectivity, application, or infrastructure failures.
- Evaluate failover mechanisms across compute, storage, network, telecom, cloud, and application environments.
- Develop and test failover procedures to ensure solutions perform as designed during recovery scenarios.
- Work toward near-zero RTO solutions for business-critical services.
Network & Telecom Architecture
- Design resilient network architectures using multiple connectivity providers and redundant communication paths.
- Evaluate carrier and telecom architectures for availability and fault tolerance.
- Design solutions incorporating network redundancy, carrier redundancy, connectivity redundancy, and diverse network paths.
- Identify network dependencies and potential failure points.
- Collaborate with network and telecom engineers to improve infrastructure resiliency.
- Evaluate connectivity requirements for on-premises, cloud, broadcast, and hybrid environments.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or related areas.
- Strong experience designing highly available and resilient infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on experience with broadcast playout and signal redundancy.
- Strong understanding of satellite and live-stream workflows.
- Experience designing automated failover solutions.
- Experience developing architectures supporting near-zero RTO requirements.
- Strong knowledge of diverse network and telecom architectures.
- Experience with carrier and connectivity redundancy.
- Demonstrated experience with disaster recovery planning, testing, recovery procedures, and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of networking, compute, storage, virtualization, backup, replication, and cloud technologies.
- Experience designing on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Ability to identify infrastructure dependencies and single points of failure across complex environments.
- Strong technical architecture and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

The ideal candidate is a senior infrastructure architect who understands both technology architecture and business continuity. Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position in Euless, Texas, requiring three days onsite per week.
Local candidates are required.
