Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native / Full Stack Mobile Developer for a long-term opportunity with a confidential retail client in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have strong production-level experience developing mobile applications with React Native and the ability to work across the full technology stack.

This position is well suited for a senior developer who can build scalable mobile applications, develop backend services, integrate third-party systems, work with cloud infrastructure, and support applications throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
• Build scalable and responsive mobile experiences for enterprise users and customers.
• Develop frontend applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Develop and maintain backend components using C# / .NET.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs between mobile applications and backend systems.
• Integrate third-party services and external APIs into mobile and backend applications.
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure to support application deployment and scalability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Identify and resolve application performance issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards.
• Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, Architects, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
• Support application releases, deployments, monitoring, and production operations.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.

Required Technical Skills

React Native

• Strong hands-on experience with React Native.
• Proven experience building and supporting production mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture.
• Experience with application performance optimization.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and third-party services.

JavaScript & TypeScript

• Strong JavaScript development experience.
• Strong TypeScript experience.
• Understanding of modern frontend development practices.
• Experience developing reusable and maintainable components.

Backend Development

Experience with:

• Node.js
• C#
• .NET
• RESTful APIs
• Backend application development
• API integration

The candidate should be comfortable working across both frontend/mobile and backend systems.

API & Integration

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Integrate mobile applications with enterprise backend systems.
• Work with third-party APIs and services.
• Troubleshoot API and integration issues.
• Ensure reliable communication between mobile applications and backend services.
• Support API performance, security, and scalability requirements.

Cloud & DevOps

• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure.
• Understanding of application deployment and cloud environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate application builds, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment reliability.
• Support production monitoring and troubleshooting.

Testing & Quality

• Develop unit and integration tests.
• Participate in automated testing activities.
• Troubleshoot defects and application issues.
• Perform performance optimization and application tuning.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Follow established coding, security, and quality standards.

Agile Development

The selected candidate will work in a collaborative Agile environment and will be expected to:

• Contribute to technical estimations.
• Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong production-level React Native experience and should be capable of working across the full technology stack.

Candidates should be comfortable developing mobile applications while also working with JavaScript, TypeScript, C#/.NET, Node.js, REST APIs, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are important because this role requires close interaction with product, UI/UX, QA, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.

Experience troubleshooting production applications and optimizing application performance is highly desirable.
