Job Overview
Web Developer Houston We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software/Web Developer to build and maintain end-to-end web applications in a Microsoft-centric technology environment.
The developer will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, building responsive user interfaces, scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and SQL Server databases. The role also involves contributing to system design, software quality, troubleshooting, and continuous engineering improvements.
The successful candidate will work independently on complex features while collaborating with engineering and product teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
- Own software features throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Create complete features spanning database, backend services, and front-end applications.
Front-End Development
- Develop web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Translate requirements into functional and scalable user experiences.
Backend Development
- Develop applications using C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Build RESTful APIs and web services.
- Work with MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.
- Develop maintainable and scalable backend solutions.
Database Development
- Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Develop database schemas.
- Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures using T-SQL.
- Troubleshoot database performance issues.
Agile & Software Engineering
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct and participate in peer code reviews.
- Follow software development best practices.
- Contribute to architecture, tooling, and development improvements.
Troubleshooting & Reliability
- Troubleshoot production issues.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Investigate and address security vulnerabilities.
- Support system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft technology stacks.
- Strong proficiency in:
- C#
- JavaScript ES6+
- HTML5
- CSS3
- SQL / T-SQL
- Hands-on experience with:
- ASP.NET Core / .NET Core
- MVC
- Web API
- Entity Framework
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Familiarity with Git.
- Experience with Visual Studio or VS Code.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Equivalent education combined with relevant professional software development experience may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, including:

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Experience with Docker or containerized deployments.
