We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 7+ years of professional experience to support enterprise application development and cloud-native modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, API development, microservices, multi-threading, Apigee, Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), GitHub Actions, Argo CD, SQL, ETL, and application logging.

This role is suited for a developer who can build scalable backend services, develop robust APIs, deploy containerized microservices, and contribute to modern CI/CD and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using modern Java environments.
• Develop robust RESTful and enterprise APIs using JDK/JRE technologies.
• Build high-performance backend services and microservices.
• Develop concurrent applications using advanced multi-threading techniques.
• Analyze application requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement APIs that meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.
• Manage API traffic and gateway configurations using Apigee.
• Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.
• Package and deploy microservices using Docker containers.
• Deploy containerized applications into Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Support cloud-native application deployments and production environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Orchestrate continuous delivery deployments using Argo CD.
• Implement secure and reliable deployment workflows.
• Write optimized and high-performance SQL queries.
• Troubleshoot database performance and application data-access issues.
• Apply ETL concepts to support data integration and processing requirements.
• Develop solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading data between systems.
• Implement structured application logging to improve system visibility and troubleshooting.
• Monitor application behavior and investigate production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

Core Java Development

Strong hands-on experience with Java, JDK, and JRE is required.

Microservices, Docker & GKE

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java.
• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Deploy and manage containerized services on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Troubleshoot container and deployment issues.
• Support scalable and resilient cloud-native application architectures.
• Work with development and DevOps teams to improve deployment reliability.

CI/CD & DevOps

Strong experience with modern CI/CD tools is required.

The candidate will:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Automate application builds and testing.
• Support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Manage source code using GitHub.
• Use Argo CD to orchestrate secure continuous delivery deployments.
• Troubleshoot deployment and pipeline failures.
• Improve automation and release processes.

Database & ETL

• Develop optimized SQL queries for application and reporting requirements.
• Work with relational databases and application data-access layers.
• Analyze and improve database query performance.
• Apply ETL concepts to support enterprise data integration.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Troubleshoot data integration and processing issues.

Application Logging & Monitoring

• Implement structured and consistent application logging.
• Improve application visibility and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Analyze logs to identify application failures and performance issues.
• Support production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Follow enterprise logging and observability best practices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Java Developer with strong cloud-native and DevOps experience. You should be comfortable working across Java backend development, APIs, microservices, Apigee, Docker, GKE, CI/CD, SQL, and ETL.

Experience deploying and supporting enterprise applications in Kubernetes environments and automating releases through GitHub Actions and Argo CD will be particularly valuable.
