Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps covering short-term and long-term initiatives.
  • Translate business goals, customer requirements, and market opportunities into actionable product priorities.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and organizational priorities.
  • Define clear product requirements and ensure alignment among business and technology stakeholders.
  • Drive products through discovery, development, launch, adoption, and continuous optimization.

Product Discovery & Requirements

  • Lead product discovery activities to understand customer needs, operational challenges, and business opportunities.
  • Define detailed user journeys, process flows, functional requirements, integration requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities across existing products and customer experiences.
  • Convert complex business requirements into clear and actionable product specifications.
  • Collaborate with UX, Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure product requirements are properly understood.

Cloud & Platform Integrations

  • Work with cloud-based platforms and enterprise technology environments.
  • Define product requirements for integrations between cloud platforms, applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand integration dependencies, architecture considerations, and technical constraints.
  • Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives from a product perspective.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Amazon Connect & Contact Center

Experience with Amazon Connect and modern contact center technologies is highly desirable.

  • Lead product activities related to migration, adoption, and platform transformation.
  • Develop strategies to increase user and business adoption of new capabilities.
  • Identify migration dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Work with engineering and operations teams to support successful product transitions.
  • Monitor adoption metrics and recommend improvements based on customer and business feedback.
  • Support continuous optimization of products after implementation.

Agile & SDLC

  • Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Manage product backlogs and prioritize requirements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and release planning.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure completed functionality meets product requirements.
  • Coordinate product releases and communicate priorities across technical and business teams.

Data-Driven Product Management

The ideal candidate should use data and measurable outcomes to guide product decisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Define and monitor relevant KPIs and product metrics.
  • Analyze customer behavior, usage patterns, and operational data.
  • Incorporate customer feedback into product decisions.
  • Use experimentation and analytics to validate product assumptions.
  • Identify opportunities for improving customer experience, adoption, performance, and cost.
  • Present product insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

AI & GenAI Experience

Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI in product management is highly desirable.

  • Experience defining APIs, integration requirements, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Business teams.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Must be able to work 5 days onsite in Plano, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSPO, Pragmatic, or equivalent Product Management certification.
  • AWS or other major cloud platform experience.
  • Experience with Amazon Connect.
  • Contact center technology experience.
  • Omnichannel customer service operations experience.
  • Knowledge of telephony, IVR, and WebRTC.
  • Experience with agent experience and customer experience platforms.
  • Experience with AI/GenAI-enabled product development.
  • Enterprise cloud migration and modernization experience.

Work Location

This position is 5 days onsite in Plano, Texas. Candidates must be willing and able to work onsite throughout the engagement.
