Key Responsibilities
- Workday HCM Lead Melville NY Lead and drive end-to-end Workday HCM implementations, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday HCM Core and related modules
- Perform Fit-Gap Analysis to evaluate business requirements and propose optimal Workday solutions
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to define and implement standardized HR processes and global process designs
- Configure and support Core HCM, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, and Payroll modules
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives
- Provide expertise in US and Canada Payroll processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Support Workday modules such as Prism Analytics, Journeys, and Help, enabling enhanced employee experience and reporting capabilities
- Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings
- Provide guidance on best practices, system optimization, and process improvements
- Oversee system testing including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle Workday Functional Lead

- 13+ years of overall experience in IT, HRIS, or enterprise applications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Workday HCM (Core)
- Strong expertise in US and Canada Payroll within Workday
- Proven experience in Talent & Performance Management and Advanced Compensation modules
- Experience working with Workday Prism Analytics, Journeys, and Help modules
- Demonstrated experience in Fit-Gap Analysis and Global Process Design
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end Workday implementation lifecycle
- Ability to work independently and lead large-scale Workday initiatives
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience working in remote and global team environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certifications in HCM or related modules
- Experience with multi-country or global Workday rollouts
- Knowledge of integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, or APIs
- Familiarity with data migration and reporting tools within Workday
- Prior experience working with large enterprise clients or consulting firms
