Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
- 7 years in development roles focused on software and data products with
- 4 years as an engineering lead. 3 years managing Postgres databases knowing how to work with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or MongoDB, too.
- Has worked together with business verticals in the establishment of nomenclature, data catalog, provenance, standards, and usage of data.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with query development and optimization using SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL. Application performance-tuning expertise with demonstrable evidence in previous projects.
- Competent in data integration design patterns. Has worked on medium to large-scale data integration projects involving OLAP/OLTP systems. Has worked with Domain Driven Design, microservices, and database design.
- Experience in implementing software development engineering best practices plus DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Practical experience coding in Java, building RESTful API applications, and working with messaging and streaming technologies plus tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Jira.
- Hands-on experience leveraging Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Data Flow, and other technologies in the implementation of data integration pipelines.
- Very conversant with the automation of unit testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing for data interfaces and data pipelines.
