Job Summary
ADevOps Engineer jobs Dallas Texas s an Infrastructure Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud and container-based infrastructure solutions. You will work in a hybrid model during day shifts and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems.
This role requires a combination of cloud expertise, API integration knowledge, and strong troubleshooting skills to support enterprise-scale infrastructure Hiring Java Developer Remote Contract | $80–$120/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize infrastructure environments to ensure seamless operations and system reliability
- Implement and maintain Azure PaaS solutions to support business-critical applications
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using OpenShift
- Ensure secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth protocols
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for system integrations
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver infrastructure solutions
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders
- Conduct system audits and apply updates, patches, and improvements regularly
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices
- Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services
- Experience with container platforms, especially OpenShift
- Knowledge of OAuth authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Experience developing and working with RESTful APIs
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalability, and high availability concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with distributed teams
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Knowledge of scripting or automation tools
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture
