Snowflake data engineer jobs in Texas You’ll lead the design and implementation of snowflake environments, Including Bronze, sliver, Gold layers, and ensure our data models, pipelines, and governance framework support analytics, decision making, and innovation across the organization
What you will do?
Own the End to End Snowflake data engineer jobs in Texas , including data layers, pipelines, ,modeling frameworks, and performance optimization, Translate business needs into scalable business models canonical structures, ontologies, and reusable data products
Establish and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and domain driven, design practice
Guide Teams on best in class ingestion, transformation ( including dbt ) and ETL Frameworks
Integrate Key platforms capabilities such as
Data Quality
Data Governance
Meta data Management
Data Observability
Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and cost optimized and compliant with enterprise standards
Mentor the lead data engineers and modelers, supporting technical growth and solution quality
Play a key role in roadmap planning and architectural decision making while communicating clearly with business and techinical leaders,
Snowflake data engineer jobs in Texas What you bring
10+ years of experience in data engineering and platform architect
3+ years in technical leadership role
strong hands on experience with snowflake including,
performance Tuning
Clustering
Security
Cost Optimization
Experience working with AWS, Azure or GCP
Strong understanding of data domains such as client, finance etc,
Deep Knowledge data modeling approche
Dimensional
Canonical
Domain Driven design
Experience building or using semantic / ontology – based data layers ( business vocabulary, relationships, metrics, )
Familiarity with modern data stack, including dbt, orchestration, and CI/CD for data
Experience Implementing:
Data Quality
Data Governance
Metadata management
Data Observability
Hands on experience with orchestration tools such as airflow, perfect, or Luigi,
Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of ETL best Practice
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross functional teams
Nice to Have
Experience with Knowledge graphs, sematic models, or graph databse
Background supporting large scale enterprises data platforms across multiple business domains
Experience working in cloud- native architects and modernizations
