Role : Senior Data/AI Engineer
Location : Irvine, CA ( Remote)
Duration: 6+ months contract to hire
Rate : USD- 55/Hourly on C2C
Note: Three years in a hands-on role with AWS services.
Heavy scripting experience using Python and SQL.
Solid scripting experience in AWS using Lambda functions.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in building data driven solutions.
3 yrs. of exp. in working with AWS svcs

Specialized Knowledge & Skills
Expertise in real-time data solutions, good-to-have knowledge of streams processing, Message Oriented Platforms and ETL/ELT Tools.
Strong scripting experience using Python and SQL.
Familiarity with basic AWS compute, storage, networking, and IAM. Knowledge of Gen AI models, prompt engineering, RAG, fine tuning and pre-tuning would be an added advantage. Strong scripting skills in AWS using Lambda functions. Familiarity with CloudFormation template is preferred. Practical experience on leading cloud-based data warehouse platforms like Redshift and Snowflake.
Practice structuring information flows and related understanding of information intake, transformation of organized, semi-organized, and unorganized information across cloud administrations.
Learning and comprehension of data rules and standards to direct best practices around data management exercises and arrangements.
Experience with one or more data integration tools like Attunity (Qlik), AWS Glue ETL, Talend, Kafka and so forth.
Deep knowledge of data security – authorization, authentication, encryption, and network security.
Hands on experience of using and extending machine learning framework and libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost etc.
Has experience in the AWS SageMaker family of services or any such tools used to build machine learning models.
Strong speaking and writing skills to help run meetings and workshops to gather data, needs for function and tech, process steps, data flows, gap checks, and linked data to back data control/governance work. Acts with truth and looks ahead to find ways to stay within rules, policies, and steps. Shows skill in being self-led with great order, study skill and people skills.
Great knowledge of the value and advantages of good quality data, and the ability to champion results across functions.

The Data/AI Engineer Solution will provide engineering of enterprise scale data management best practices. Patterns include modern data integration frameworks and building scalable distributed systems leverage emerging cloud-based data design patterns. This role will develop data integration tasks in the area of data and analytics. This position reports to the Director, Data Management under Data & AI organization.
Show proficiency at putting data warehouse answers to use with up-to-date data tools like Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift. Make data joining answers between deal setups and study tools. Widen data joining answers to take in data from inside and outside sources and to change more as per the business use needs.
Develop tasks for several data patterns, such as real-time data integration, advanced analytics, machine learning, BI, and reporting. Basic understanding of building data products by data enrichment and ML. Be a team player and share knowledge with existing team members.
