A motivated QA Tester is needed to join the quality assurance team in helping to enforce software quality, performance, usability, and reliability of our products at the highest level possible. This has been designed for newbies who have a burning passion for testing and problem-solving while contributing toward achieving a high-performing software development environment. Among the primary duties that this individual will be required to perform includes assessing software applications using both manual and automated testing methods. They will be responsible for bug identification, and improvement of user experience including support for cross-functional teams during the entire development lifecycle. Major Functions and Duties
1. Software Testing & Quality Assurance
Conduct regression, integration, performance, and platform testing. Demonstrate stability and reliability of the software product to meet company requirements as well as market standards.
2. Sprint Reviews & Client Communication
Work with stakeholders and clients in the demonstration of projects.
Findings presentation, questions answering, and feedback provision at the end of every sprint.
3. Bug Reporting & Troubleshooting
Identification, documentation, and tracking of bugs using JIRA or any relevant tool.
Collaboration with development teams by ensuring defects are successfully replicated and prioritized as well as resolved in a timely manner.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work hand-in-hand with QA teams, developers, product managers, and business teams for product releases and quality gates.
Sit in Agile ceremonies. Support continuous improvement.
5. Automation Support (Entry-Level)
Help generate QA automation metrics.
Research automation tools and techniques to help in future automation initiatives.
Contribute scripts and testing frameworks under guidance.
Important Requirement
Must be ready to move. We have work and QA spots in different places all over the U.S.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills
– Basic understanding of Selenium or other automation tools.
– Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Experience between zero to one year in QA, testing, or software development plus knowledge of the MS Office Suite and any documentation tools.
Soft Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to work cooperatively in a dynamic Agile-based environment. Willingness to learn adapt and overcome technical challenges.
