A highly experienced QA Automation Engineer who has worked with Node.js automation and Cyara IVR & Call Routing testing is required for a long-term hybrid contract position in Coppell, TX. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless, reliable, and high-quality customer experiences over the voice and digital contact center channels. The Automated Test Frameworks developed by this individual shall ensure validation of IVR flows, Speech Recognition, DTMF Inputs, Call Routing as well as Failover scenarios. Working very closely with development teams together with IVR engineers and routing specialists this candidate will help to surface issues early reduce defects in production and assure system availability to the maximum level possible. This is the ideal situation for a QA professional that has practical experience with telephony automation API testing as well as CI/CD integrations willing to participate within an up-to-date automation-driven test environment.
QA Automation Engineer
In the role of QA Automation Engineer, duties shall include but not limited to:
Automation Framework Development
– Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API, UI, and Telephony testing
– Build reusable automation components using Node.js
– Ensure test frameworks are built on industry best practices relating to maintainability and performance
– Design and run Cyara test cases, campaigns, and journeys. Check IVR flows, DTMF input handling, speech recognition accuracy, and call routing logic. Test in failover and disaster recovery plus high availability situations. Watch Cyara Pulse alerts to catch system problems early.
API & Backend Testing
– Do automated testing for REST APIs, JSON payloads, and microservices.
Backend integration validation of contact center applications. API defect debugging support collaboration with backend developers.
CI/CD & DevOps
