Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: Long-term Contract

What You’ll Do in This Role:0
You will be performing design, development, and support of python-based tools and integrations between vulnerability scanning systems and other internal-external services on all the available APIs and integration mechanisms for healthy dataflow management automation platform management, as well as monitoring/ reporting.
Use tools and resources inside the firm to make manual, automatic, or redundant inefficiencies go away. Keep the codebase and setup in check using different flavors of version control systems. Work with stakeholders for better stability, operational excellence plus a mindset of getting things done right.Make sure that team knowledge is up-to-date as well as futuristic.
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or any other related discipline, or its equivalent.

Has more than 5 years of practical development experience using Python or any programming languages like Perl, Java, C, or C++. Familiar with Linux and Windows command-line operations at the basic level. Has hands-on experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, Stash, GitHub, Git, or Jira (or their equivalents).
Has experience with vulnerability scanning tools like Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
Has history of deploying and managing infrastructure at scale.
Has strong troubleshooting skills as well as analytical problem-solving skills.
General knowledge of networking and security which may include IP Networking, Subnetting, TCP/IP, firewalls, and routing as well as DNS and NAT plus load balancing and packet trace analysis.
Great people, written and spoken communication skills, able to relate well in all areas of a project. Good time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work to a deadline.

Confidence in your ability, a can-do approach, Teamwork and enthusiasm. Agile environment experience using either Kanban or Scrum.
Has worked in a security-based environment or is interested in pursuing knowledge of cyber security.
Has a good understanding of the principles of security architecture, design, and engineering practices.
Knowledge or experience about security and technology-related matters such as CVEs, CPE, NIST, OWASP Top 10, and MITRE.
