About the Role
As a Network Engineer (Contract) Jobs in USA for Freshers on this project, you will support and enhance edge networking operations for several agencies within a large enterprise. - Provide Tier 2 support for complex or widespread network incidents, partnering with help desk, infrastructure, security, and application teams to restore service quickly.
- Analyze complex network issues using logs, monitoring data, and diagnostic tools; identify root causes and recommend long-term corrective actions.
- Evaluate emerging networking technologies, tools, and solutions that may enhance performance, security, or manageability in the enterprise environment.
- Contribute to configuration standards, hardening guidelines, and optimization initiatives to maintain a robust and secure network platform.
- Ensure that all network changes and implementations meet strict security and compliance requirements, including proper segmentation, access control, and encryption.
- Create and maintain accurate Visio network diagrams and documentation for data centers, sites, and remote locations.
- Partner with remote IT staff and field technicians to assist with installations, troubleshooting, and best practices for network operations.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and evolving network technologies, including SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and automation tools.
Required Skills & Experience
