Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Linux Administrator to perform Linux Administrator jobs in Bellevue Enterprise Infrastructure Operations for a contract position located in Bellevue, Washington. This Systems Professional should possess strong working knowledge and abilities regarding Unix/Linux Administration, be well-versed and competent with scripting, as well as having experience with cloud environments. This will be a key position focused on ensuring stable operations of the systems while driving efficiencies through automation support to cross-functional IT teams. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity to work in an enterprise environment that moves fast and holds uptime, performance, and security at the highest levels
Linux Administrator jobs in Bellevue Production, and ,non-production Linux-based systems management, support, and optimization.
-Administration, configuration, and maintenance of Unix/Linux Operating Systems
-System monitoring, health checking and performance tuning including root cause analysis.
-Troubleshooting OS-level issues to ensure high availability as well as the reliability of the systems.
-Development enhancement plus maintenance of Unix shell scripts for automation monitoring together with routine maintenances.
Use awk, sed, grep, and other related text-processing utilities in log analysis and diagnosis. Handle user accounts, groups, permissions, file systems, and access controls. Implement system security policies including patching and compliance standards. Assist in Windows PowerShell scripting for cross-platform system administration tasks. Experience with cloud infrastructure- mostly Microsoft Azure-setup will include: Virtual machine provisioning and management.Basic concepts in networking (VNets, subnets, security groups).
– Utilize Python scripting for the automation of operational activities and enhancement of system performance.
– Cooperate with application, network, DevOps, and security resources in incident resolution.
– Adhere to ITIL-based change management, incident management, and documentation best practices.
– Participate in on-call rotations where applicable Linux Administrator
Skills & Qualifications
– Very solid hands-on experience with Linux and Unix system administration.
– Profound knowledge of Linux OS fundamentals, commands, and system internals.
– Hands-on experience in shell scripting (Bash, KornShell, etc.).
– Proficiency in Unix text-processing tools (awk, sed, grep).
– Basic knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.
– Hands-on experience with Windows PowerShell.
– Knowledge of any cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure.
– Good programming and scripting concepts.
– Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while carrying out multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills
Linux Administrator Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with observing instruments and warning arrangements. Understanding of protection strengthening and following rules. Background in quick or ITIL-managed settings
