About the Role
In the capacity of Junior Business Analyst, you will engage in close collaboration with Fixed Income traders, technological visionaries, and interdisciplinary teams to elucidate, architect, and actualize pivotal features for an innovative electronic trading apparatus. Your obligations will encompass the translation of intricate business requisites into coherent user narratives, bolstering Agile development methodologies, executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and safeguarding the integrity of deliverables. Applicants possessing a foundation in Fixed Income, Electronic Trading, Rates, Credit instruments, and front-office infrastructures will find themselves particularly suited for this position.
Key Responsibilities
– Engage with Fixed Income business patrons to meticulously gather and document essential requirements.
– Construct meticulously organized epics, user narratives, and tasks within Jira.
– Convey functional requisites to developmental teams and facilitate the realization of features.
– Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for novel system constituents.
– Collaborate intimately with allied technological teams across diverse geographies.
– Potentially assist in the stewardship of line management, recruitment, and acclimatization of developers, quality assurance, and DevOps personnel.
– Endorse Agile sprint orchestration and decompose extensive requirements into tractable user narratives.
Required Qualifications
– Profound product acumen in Rates or Credit Fixed Income instruments is highly desirable.
– Comprehensive grasp of D2D and D2C electronic trading workflows within Fixed Income markets.
– Demonstrated experience as a proactive Business Analyst embedded within a front-office development cadre at an investment banking institution.
– Exceptional analytical, communicative, and problem-resolution capabilities.
– Highly driven, adaptable, and results-oriented.
– Capacity to juggle multifarious responsibilities and deliver within dynamic environments.
