Overview:
In support of our growing engineering activities in Texas, we are looking for an inspired Junior Automation Engineer who will be working on designs, developments, and implementations of new or improved automated systems for enhanced manufacturing productivity, better product quality, and improved operational performance. This position is perfect for applicants interested in industrial automation, robotics, and control systems.
Help design, program, and test automation (PLCs, HMIs, and robots). Help put automated machines into the current way of making things. Work with older engineers to find problems and make better control systems. Create and keep technical papers like wiring pictures, control plans, and system books up to date. Do system checks, proof, and start-up at customer places.
Observe safety and quality policies.
Give tech help for related automation troubles within the production set-up.
QUALIFICATIONS
Junior Automation Engineer – Texas Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or any related course.
0–2 years of practice concerning industrial automation or control systems.
Basic knowledge about PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Others).
Awareness regarding HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols.
Great analytical as well as problem-resolving abilities.
Strong team player with good communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Has seen robotics integration and motion control systems.
Knows industrial sensors, actuators, and instrumentation.
Has touched AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN for control panel design.
Learns Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 concepts.
