We are actively hiring an experienced Java Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with Walmart. 🔍 Role Overview
As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications with a focus on both backend and frontend components. You will play a key role in implementing scalable architectures and ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of systems.
This role requires hands-on experience with event-driven architecture, performance engineering, and modern development frameworks.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain workflow-driven applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
Build scalable backend services and user-facing web applications
Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables
Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
Optimize applications through performance engineering and profiling tools
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
6+ years of experience in software development (full-stack preferred)
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems
Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts and MS SQL Server
Understanding of non-functional requirements such as:
Performance
Scalability
Security
Maintainability
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience with performance tuning and optimization tools
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
