About the Role
We are currently supporting a high priority data migration initiative and are looking for an experienced senior snowflake Engineer to join the team on a short term contract, Hire Snowflake developer This role is critical to ensuring the successful migration from SQL server to snowflake within a tight deadline Hire Snowflake developer
The ideal candidate will have a strong SQL server background, hands on snowflake SQL experience, and prior exposure to the Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical domain, as the data includes complex healthcare, drug, and insurance- related terminology Hire Snowflake developer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support data migration activities from SQL server to snowflake
- Design, develop, and optimize snowflake SQL queries, views, and schemas
- Analyze exiting SQL server stored procedures and translate them into snowflake compatible solutions
- Work closely with business and technical teams and ensure data accuracy and integrity
- handle large, complex datasets related to pharmaceutical operations, drugs, and insurance
- Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and validation during migration
- Meet aggressive delivery timeliness while maintaining high quality standards
Must have skills
- Strong SQL Server background
- Advanced SQL coding
- Experience in complex queries, procedures, and migration projects
- Hands on snowflake SQL experience
- Data modeling, transformation, and performance optimization
- Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical domain experience
- Understanding of drugs, Insurance, Pharmacy business processes, and healthcare, data terminology
- Strong SQL server background
- Extensive experience working in advanced SQL server environment
- Expertise in complex SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning
- Prior experience in SQL server migration projects is highly preferred
- proven experience developing and optimizing snowflake SQL solutions
- Strong understanding of snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, and cost performance optimization
Nice to have skills
- JavaScript ( used within snowflake or data workflows )
- AWS experience, especially:
- S3 buckets for file storage and data sharing
- understanding of AWS based data pipelines and integrations

- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, deadlines driven environment
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Proven experience supporting migrations projects under the tight timelines
- Proven Ability to perform under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail, especially when working with regulated healthcare data
