Healthcare Project Manager Richmond This role requires a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering complex healthcare IT projects, particularly within claims processing systems and Medicaid programs. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring candidates to be onsite 2–3 days per week, so local candidates are strongly preferred Medicaid Systems
Key Responsibilities
- Healthcare Project Manager Richmond Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare IT projects focused on claims processing, adjudication systems, and Medicaid programs ServiceNow Business Analyst Remote EST
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery within constraints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, Medicaid policies, and claims processing standards
- Drive project planning activities including requirement gathering, sprint planning, risk management, and reporting
- Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Facilitate regular status meetings, stakeholder updates, and executive reporting
- Ensure proper documentation including project plans, requirement documents, and status reports
- Support system implementation, integration, and post-production support phases
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare Project Manager Richmond 8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on project management
- Proven experience in Healthcare domain, specifically with Claims and Medicaid programs
- Strong understanding of claims lifecycle (submission, adjudication, payment, denial management)
- Experience managing large-scale healthcare IT or payer systems projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with tools like JIRA, MS Project, or similar project tracking tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
.NET AI Developer – NJ (Onsite) | $65/hr
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with state Medicaid systems or healthcare payers
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is a plus
- Exposure to healthcare data standards like HIPAA, EDI (X12), HL7
- Familiarity with vendor management and third-party integrations
