Generative AI Architect NYC We are actively seeking a highly experienced Generative AI Architect to join our client Virtusa in a mission-critical role supporting enterprise-scale AI initiatives. Machine Learning Architect This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who has deep expertise in designing, architecting, and deploying cutting-edge Generative AI solutions in real-world business environments.
As a Generative AI Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable AI architectures, with a particular focus on Azure OpenAI services, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive AI innovation and deliver impactful solutions Generative AI Architect NYC

🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years focused on AI/ML and Generative AI.
- Proven hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud platform, including Azure AI services and architecture design.
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI LLMs, including GPT-based models and enterprise use cases.
- Deep understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and implementation strategies.
- Proficiency in Python programming, along with AI/ML libraries and frameworks.
- Experience with model training, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and integration with AI systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing technical teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
