We need an extremely skilled EPM Developer with very deep knowledge of EPBCS and Hyperion Planning. This position will favor individuals who are adept at creating scalable planning solutions and working together with finance and business teams on extensive budgeting and forecasting processes. This position will have a key role in the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise planning applications by participating in requirements/business rules development through performance tuning and end‐user support. It demands an appreciation of the technical and functional sides of EPM competence, particularly when dealing with finance stakeholders who require accurate planning data delivered on time.
● Assist in the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise planning applications from requirements/business rules development through performance tuning to end‐user support.
● Maintain amicable combination of technical and functional understanding relating to all aspects of EPM competence when dealing with finance stakeholders whose dependence lies within accurate planning data delivered on time.
Develop and manage EPBCS applications for budget, forecast, long-range plan, and corporate finance processes.
Create and tune Business Rules, Calc Manager rules, plus custom logic supporting correct calculations and quick operations.
Use Groovy scripting to run tasks automatically thus speeding work steps and improving model performance.
Make EPBCS models through all parts of the software development life cycle: from getting requirements to designing solutions, building, testing, rolling out, and documenting.
Work with finance teams to understand their planning requirements and translate these into technical solutions. Report creation for Financial Reporting and SmartView users-including the development of dependable reports plus support on user issue troubleshooting. Involvement in performance tuning, problem diagnostics as well as conducting enhancements toward achieving a more stable and responsive system. Carry out development activities independently while also ensuring prompt communication with other involved teams.

Analytical skills with the ability to pinpoint problems and suggest viable solutions. Ability to articulate technical matters clearly in layman’s terms to non-technical finance users in a friendly way.
Preferred Extra Experience
Education or experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics. Understanding of data flows from HR or workforce planning systems. Has worked with relational databases and knows basic SQL for extracting or validating data.
Ability to assist both the technical and functional sides of EPM.
