Role Overview
We want a very seasoned Automation Lead who has great experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks within the security domain. The individual must have very strong hands-on experience with Python, Grafana, and security automation and should prove practical expertise in scalable solution architecture that sits at the heart of process streamlining and operational efficiency improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement automation frameworks for security processes and tools. Create reusable components and libraries that will help speed up the automation effort. Automate dashboards, alerts, and all forms of reporting through Grafana such that there is proper monitoring of security as well as analytics in place. Write strong Python scripts and modules for process automation as well as integration. Work closely with security engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams in discovering and applying places wherein automation can be an added value.
Enforce the security best practices and regulatory requirements in automation solutions. Tune existing automation workflows to perform better and attain more scalability. Provide technical leadership in the form of mentoring team members on standards and best practices in automation.
12 years of experience in automation development, including at least 3 years in teh security domain.
Great at using Python to make scripts and build frameworks, Has used Grafana for making dashboards and showing data. Knows well the security rules like Identity and Access Management (IAM), watching, and following the rules. Has made modular and scalable automation frameworks before. Knows about APIs, RESTful services, and integration patterns. Very good at solving problems and thinking clearly.

Preferred Qualifications -
Experience of CI/CD pipelines and automation in any or all three cloud environments, AWS, Azure or GCP. Knowledge about containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation tools(Terraform, Ansible). Exposure towards Security Information & Event Management(SIEM) and Security Orchestration Automation & Response(SOAR) platforms makes an individual advantageous if holds security certifications(CISSP,CISM).
