Job Description
We are looking for as experienced Service Now Developer to join our growing technology team in Atlanta GA, The ideal candidate will have strong Hands strong Hands on Experience across the ServiceNow platform, Including development, Configuration, Customization, and integrations, Service Now Developer The role requires a deep understanding of IT services Management, processes along with exposure to IT services management, Customer service management, and hardware assessment management modules
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play key role in designing, Implementing, and optimizing service Now solutions that align with Business needs and industry best practices, You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, and agile teams to deliver scalable and high quality ServiceNow applications Service Now Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and customize service now applications and modules based on business requirements
- Develop client scripts, Business rules, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, work flow, and flow Designer solutions
- Work extensively with java script and servicenow Scripting to enhance platfrom functionlity and performance
- Implement and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and third- party systems
- Support and optimize ITSM processes such as Incident Problem, change, Request, and knowledge management
- Contribute to ITOM Initiatives, Including discovery, event management, and service mapping where applicable
- Work with CSM to improve customer interaction workflow and service delivery experiences
- manage and enhance HAM processes Including assets lifecycle tracking, compliance, and reporting
- Participate actively in Agile/ Scrum project delivery, including sprint planning, daily stand-up, reviews, and retrospectives
- Create and maintain technical documentation, system design document, and solution architecture diagrams
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolve platform issues efficiently
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines
- Support platform upgrades, patching and testing activities
Required skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform, Including development, configuration, and customization
- Solid Knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting, frameworks
- Hands on experience with REST and SOAP web services for system Integrations
- In-depth understanding of ITSM processes and services lifecycle management
- Experience working with ITOM, CSM, and HAM modules
- Familiarity with Agile scrum methodologies and collaborative development environment
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to create clear and detailed technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders
- Must be a local candidate to Atlanta GA, and available for Onsite or Hybrid work as required
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS ( ITSM, CSM, ITOM )
- Experience to CMDB design and data modeling best practices Service Now Developer
