Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive power BI reports and dashboards that provide clear business insights
- Work closely with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Build and optimize data models using best practices such as star and snowflake schemas
- Develop advance DAX calculations, measures, and KPI’s to support complex analytical needs
- Create and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction and reporting
- Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL server, Azure SQL, Excel, API’s and cloud based systems
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance tuning across all reports and dashboards
- Implement row- level security and manage access control with power Bi services
- Support report publishing, refresh scheduling, and production deployments
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and continuously enhance exiting BI solutions
- Document technical design, data models, and reporting, standards
Required skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience working as a Power BI developer or Business intelligence Analyst
- Strong expertise in power BI Desktop, Power Bi service, DAX, and Power Query
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling techniques
- Experience working with relational database such as SQL server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to explain technical insights to non technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills ( Nice to have )
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Factory, Azure synapse Analytical, or Azure Data lake
- Knowledge of SSIS, Python, or other BI and analytical tools
- Power BI administration experience including workspace management and gateway configuration
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
- Microsoft Power BI or Azure certification
