Position Summary
We are actively seeking to hire a QA Engineer remote jobs in New Jersey who has more than four years of working experience in delivering high-quality, reliable scalable software products in a 100% remote set-up.

Study business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases Conduct manual testing across web and/or mobile applications Implement functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing Identify defects using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools as well as logging, prioritizing, and tracking them Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in issue resolutions Participate in the sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release discussions Validate the bug fixes before releases.

Maintain test docs and make sure QA Best Practices are observed all through the SDLC
Help in the continuous improvement of QA Process in a Remote-First Setup
Skills & Qualifications Needed
4+ years practical experience in Software Quality Assurance
Deep knowledge of QA Methodologies, SDLC & STLC
Proven experience on Manual Testing and Test Case Design
Experience using Defect Tracking Tools (JIRA)
Capability to Analyze Complex Workflows and Find Edge Cases
Study business and technical requirements to come up with detailed test plans and test cases
Carry out functional, regression, smoke, and sanity manual testing
Find defects, note them down, and keep track of them using tools like JIRA
Work together with development teams to check fixes and make the product better
Join Agile ceremonies and help QA best practices all over the SDLC
Run test cycles on their own while working from home
Great Communication, Documentation, and Problem-Solving Skills
Able to inspire oneself and function solo in a distant setting.
Favored / Pleasant-to-Have Abilities
Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or alike
API test know-how using Postman or REST clients
Rudimentary understanding of SQL for data checking

Acquaintance with Agile/Scrum methods
Insight into CI/CD pipelines from a QA angle
