Position Overview
Data Engineer GCP Our Client wants a qualified Data Engineer to work with our remote team. This job best suits experts who have been able to design and implement ingestion plus pipeline processes on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
You will join hands with technical and business groups and assist in converting their needs into robust modifiable data flows by applying standards and tools like BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Dataform.
An inspired mind wishing to play a part in useful data answers inside such unified yet forward-thinking surroundings should take up this challenge willingly. This is a 100% Remote, Contract position.
Responsibilities
Data Engineer GCP Create, build, and put into action data input and process steps based on what the business needs and technical details.
Work alone and with others to help the team, making sure everyone is updated. Turn business needs into clear technical details. Make, set up, test, fix problems with, and keep records for scalable data solutions.
Write detailed SQL queries to get and check data issues. Carry out unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing with full documentation.
Contribute to project planning and may own projects of limited scope. Deliver estimates of development time for budgeting and maintain tracking to ensure visibility into the project.
Design, code, and configuration peer reviews. Continuous technical support provision and compliance with data security and development standards.
Qualifications
Data Engineer GCP A four-year undergraduate program falls within the disciplines of Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas. Three years and above practicing data engineering together with the following:͏

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Google Pub/Sub BigQuery Google Dataform Google Cloud Storage Cloud Composer SQL GitHub
Preferred/Good to Have:
Cloud Data Fusion
Work With DBMS Systems (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle)
REST API And SOAP Web Service Integration
Jira And Confluence Experience
Experience Integrating With Other Google Cloud Resources/Services
