You will scale up by designing, building, and maintaining highly available cloud environments using modern DevOps tools and practices. Solid experience in GCP or AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE) plus GitOps workflows like ArgoCD are highly preferred. Get exposure to leading technologies working hands-on with cross-functional engineering teams on the modernization plus reliability shootings of cloud platforms! The role of a DevOps Engineer is critical to optimizing cloud cost driving automation further ensuring secure strong fast infrastructure operations.
Design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure with Terraform under GitOps paradigms supporting multiple environments on a single platform that is highly scalable, reliable, and secure.
Support both GCP and AWS environments regarding environment setup, networking, IAM as well as any required security remediation to maintain best practices on the environment Manage and support Kubernetes clusters hosted on GKE that may include upgrades for modernization as well as performance-related tuning activities towards achieving high availability along with platform reliability.
DevOps Engineer Remote USA Build and take care of CI/CD pipelines with tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions making code integration and deployment easy. Do cloud cost saving and FinOps work finding ways to spend less while keeping performance and reliability. Work with engineering and product teams to fix problems make automation better and increase observability all over systems.
Develop infra docs at all times visibility and knowledge sharing between teams. Make the platform more secure with IAM best practices, network segmentation, and compliance as code automation.
Drive continuous improvement of infra automation, monitoring, and deployment pipelining. Be part of incident response and root cause analysis work to give way to the stability and reliability of prod systems in a long-term view.
5 years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation. Deep hands-on with GCP and AWS covering compute, storage, network, and IAM. Solid expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for managing resources on clouds. Good understanding of Kubernetes (GKE) setup management scaling and troubleshooting.
Has experience working with GitOps workflows preferably using ArgoCD for automated and version-controlled deployments. Good understanding of VPC networking, IAM, and information security controls. Ensuring secure and compliant infrastructure. Can script in any of the following languages: Python, Go, or Bash to help with automation, monitoring, and integration tasks. Has good communication skills as well as being a team player.
Has worked with CI/CD tools and pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. Has seen observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Stackdriver being used for monitoring and alerting. Has supported production systems, solved complex issues, and implemented solutions that scale.
Preferred Qualifications
Has worked with multi-cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure setups. Knows FinOps principles and cloud cost management tools.
Know service mesh tech like Istio or Linkerd. Know about keeping containers safe, making rules for them, and automating checks. Has seen serverless setups and event-based systems. Has a cert from AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
