Mid–Senior Level Cypress Automation Engineer will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test solutions that support high-quality software delivery by working closely with functional QA team members, developers, scrum teams, and product owners to build scalable automation frameworks ensuring seamless product performance.
This position suits those developers who love to play around with problem-solving, automation frameworks, API test development, and continuous improvement. You will also be contributing towards defining automation strategies increasing test coverage contributing towards robust CI/CD pipelines that ensure quality and speed of software delivery.
Develop, improve, and support automated test cases by using Cypress (TypeScript/JavaScript)and PactumJS. Create reusable, modular scalable automation architecture for the support of UI testing as well as functional and regression testing.
API Testing & Validation
Cypress Automation Engineer Perform detailed API testing that covers service integration validation as well as response validation and accuracy of data. Ensure every integration fulfills business, security, and performance needs.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work in very close cooperation with the manual testing team to determine priorities for automation and define a proper testing methodology.
Attends scrums, sprint planning, and code review sessions such that the automation goals are made to run in tandem with development timelines.
QUALITY ASSURANCE & REPORTING
Cypress Automation Engineer Analyzes results from automated testing, logs defects, and works jointly with developers to rectify them.
Provides detailed test reports and insights for possible areas of improvement on product quality.

Cypress Automation Engineer Assists in improving QA processes, enhancing automation, and adopting industry-standard best practices.

Must have great technical skills and love for automation engineering to be very successful in this position:
– 6-7 years of experience in automation testing practically
– Has sound knowledge of Cypress (TypeScript/JavaScript)
– Great working experience with PactumJS for API automation
– Good understanding of REST API testing, mocking, validation, and API tools
Worked in fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments before
Has good analytical and debugging skills to solve even the most complicated problems in automation
Able to perform work individually as well as coordinate efforts with remote groups of people. Has great written and spoken communication abilities. Holds a college degree in computing, engineering, or some similar technical area-or has matching experience.
